The Geelong Gaol Museum was allowed to reopen on June 7 in line with Government advice and regulations.
There are a few differences, but none that will interfere with you enjoyment of the Geelong Gaol.
Firstly, please be assured we are undertaking increased cleaning procedures both before and after the Museum being open.
Staff have undergone training on what we need to do to keep our customers and our staff safe
On arrival, you will be ask to sanitise your hands as you enter and you will be asked for your contact tracing details. This is a requirement of us being allowed to reopen and the records are only kept for 28 days.
There is signage throughout the Gaol reminding you of social distancing requirements.
At this stage, we are unable to allow entry of anyone from the lockdown zones. We hope that you keep safe and follow Governent guidelines so that we can welcome you in the near future.
And finally, we are only allowed a maximum number of 20 people (plus staff) in the Gaol at any time. We may ask you to wait or return if we are already at capacity inside.
We thank you for your understanding and help in following these guidelines during your visit and hope to see you soon!
